The court found that Mondelēz, the parent company of Milka, had cut the weight of its Alpenmilch bar from 100 grams to 90 grams, but the packaging appeared unchanged.
In response to the court's decision, Mondelēz stated they are taking the ruling seriously and will review the details further. This acknowledgement reflects the company's awareness of the legal and reputational stakes involved.
